It seems all I do lately is eat and then take pictures of my food. Or well, take pictures and then eat if you want to be specific. This time I hit up the Bistro at Nordstrom with my best friend from high school. I had never been to their sit down spot before. I am very familiar with the cafe as I used to have a serious Ice Storm addiction. Luckily I've dropped my obsession with creamy shakes, and picked up a love of loaded salads.
My girl called me friday afternoon and we met at the Bistro. The only thing I don't like about it, is that you have to order up front, before you even sit down. It felt a little rushed, and our cashier had a bit of an attitude problem. Actually a serious attitude problem. She snatched my card to swipe it and then practically threw it back at me. I was polite and the restaurant was damn near empty so idk what her deal was. Anyhoo we got seated and waited for our food to arrive. I ordered the Cilantro Lime Shrimp Salad, and my friend ordered a grilled cheese. Luckily our waiter was in a better mood and brought our food quickly and quite happily.
Ok people, this seriously may have been the best salad I have ever eaten. No lie. The dressing was heaven in my mouth. I have a love for cilantro lime anything. Everything was fresh and perfect and I want another one right now. Well sans all that crunchy shit they put on top. Too many damn crunchies. Other than that *ahhhhhhhhhhh*
